 When the devil speak through people you respect, shut him up and remind him that you are living a victorious and glorious life in Christ. Which he sadly lost the opportunity to do the same. A senior colleague told me i was wasting away because i choose to remain single and celibate, i shut him up by telling him atleast i don't have to worry about contacting STDsb HIV infection and losing the sweet communion i share with the Lord. Know where it's coming from and respond as such, not all advice and talks come from a good place. Some of this subtle suggestions are from the devil 😈, seeking to derail and mislead you.  When he can't find easy access to your life, he tries to break your resolve with unhealthy relationships, which is why he trys to make you feel like you are incomplete without a relationship.  Shut him up by telling him a man after God's own heart ❤, who God has prepared for you is just near by, you won't settle for anything less than God...

As the new year is just begins, A lot of us are either excited or afraid for the year.  If you are in the first group who are excited, you definitely are prepared and ready for 2023.  If you are in the second group, you certainly have a lot happening in your life, you don't know if it would get better or worst. Relax, never forget this truth, you don't have to carry the burden all by yourself in 2023. Enter a partnership with the holy spirit, let him lead you and help you.  It doesn't have to be difficult you know, all you need to do is let him help you.  A lot of us carry burdens we have no business carrying, while our helper stand helplessly watching us struggle because we have not learnt how to ask him for help.    Ask God to help you and guide you in this new year.  Don't walk alone walk with God.

What are usually the questions you ask someone you are interested in ?  Recently, I met this guy who ticked all of my boxes and even more, he has a good job. Got his acts together and has his goals set on track.  He has got the looks and of cause the right attitude, knows how to treat a lady right.  I liked him but I had to pause when that inner voice said 'ask him if he is married'.  Listen, when you walk with the holy spirit you would make less mistakes in your life. So, I asked the question as instructed by the spirit and this guy just wore a blank look that gave him away immediately. I just died inside because once again yet another time waster just showed up looking like the one but certainly not the one because God is not an author of confussion.  So, I soft pedalled and stayed on that question until I got my answers, he reluctantly owned up and buttered it up with so much love profession.  I just gave him a blank look and told him in as simply as pos...

You know a lot of times we sit and talk about how we hope the new year will be nice to us and all that.  The new year owes you no such thing but you owe the year so much, how you might ask ? Yes, you the year so much , because you have been given a blank sheet to work with, what becomes of it   is your doings and makings.  Except for when the circumstances are beyond your control.  What is it going to be in 2022 ?  Are you going to make delineate delibrate efforts to make it a successful year or are you going to sit and continue saying whatever will be will be ?  Am your partner in progress and am saying stand up and take decisive actions.  Welcome to 2022, a year with endless possibilities.  Jennifer Ebere Richards 12/01/2022

Recently, I found myself at a place I never thought I would ever be at again.  After my cafeteria was pulled down by the government, to make more room for road construction last year. I had planned my life properly and put everything in place for a smooth flow.  Only to wake up to one new government policy that made all my effort appear like building a sand castle on a sea shore.  At this point i felt like everything has ended, am tired of starting all over again but do i have a choice.  So here am i working for salary after years of been self employed, trying to start all over again from the scratch, even though it wasn't what i planned or envisaged.  I have another opportunity to plan and build something better, even though i have to go back to square one.  It can only get better and bigger.  #it's_not_over_until_it's_over #starting_all_over #new_beginnings

'The Father's Warm Embrace' Precisely 10yrs ago, i woke up one morning and discovered i was out of job, while i was still thinking of what to do with my life, things started getting really tough.  Four months down the line i got another job as a hair stylist, while i was celebrating that little success, the chrismas break came and i was given 2 days off duty for the new year. Only to recieve a letter from the office on the 1st of January, that my service's were no longer needed. I just couldn't understand what was happening,  i was mad and angry. I was asking question, haven't i been faithful ? Haven't i been serving ? Is this what i get after all my commitment and dedication to God's work ? To make matter's worst, my church was on my neck, sister Jennifer Richards you have not been paying your partnership. They never bothered to ask what has been happening to me, instead they only cared my contributions.  To be continued!
