'The Father's Warm Embrace' Precisely 10yrs ago, i woke up one morning and discovered i was out of job, while i was still thinking of what to do with my life, things started getting really tough.  Four months down the line i got another job as a hair stylist, while i was celebrating that little success, the chrismas break came and i was given 2 days off duty for the new year. Only to recieve a letter from the office on the 1st of January, that my service's were no longer needed. I just couldn't understand what was happening,  i was mad and angry. I was asking question, haven't i been faithful ? Haven't i been serving ? Is this what i get after all my commitment and dedication to God's work ? To make matter's worst, my church was on my neck, sister Jennifer Richards you have not been paying your partnership. They never bothered to ask what has been happening to me, instead they only cared my contributions.  To be continued!

I don't know how long you have been told do not, don't, take it and turn it to a 🍩 donut.  You heard me turn it into a donut and enjoy every bit of it, yeah donuts are usually very yummy and delicious.   You can interpret the donuts are dough not which is do not make doughs or you can interpret it as do nuts which is making dough nuts.  It's all about your interpretation of what is said, for me I choose to interpret my circumstances and situations around me as donuts, I make what I can of it and enjoy every bit of it.  Don't let the people shouting do not and don't stop you in your pursuit of the life you want, you have the creative power to recreate your world.  So make donuts and enjoy every bit of it.  Jennifer Ebere Richards Creative writer and thinker. 

#thePowerofFORGIVENESS# You can't under estimate the importance of forgiveness.  If you are still doubting about the health benefits of forgiveness, come ask me and i shall blow your minds.  I shall give you a million and one reasons why you can't do without forgiveness. Several years ago, i was in a church service and the preacher was preaching and he said ' everything you have been through, God has a purpose for it'. It sounded ridiculous to me, what exactly is the plan and purpose of God for letting me get abused, molested, raped, framed up and wrongly accused ? What exactly is that supposed to achieve ? He went ahead and quoted the scriptures from Romans 8:28 All things work together for good to them that love God and to them who are called according to his purpose. This was while i was still mad at God, i said to myself, is this not another mockery ? I just could not see how my experience was supposed to meet a need or be for good.  Here is the society ...

Recently, I have been asking a couple of questions and top most on the list of questions I need answers to is. Who exactly àm I ?  I would really love to know who I am, because most times I don't even recognise myself.  I look at myself and I see a stranger and the glimpse of a woman who is trying to find herself and express herself without the fear of being judged.  Not the stranger who I have become, whom sadly have become a people pleaser and is trying to conform to the dictates of society.  I see a woman who is so afraid of shining that my light is beginning to go dim for lack of use.  I see a woman who have let herself get muzzled by selfish ambitious folks who feel intimidated by her light and are bent to turn it off, so they can look good.  " can a back wheel suddenly drive a car, on a right track ? ”  ” If no, why are you trying to replace a front wheel with a back wheel ? ”   Am learning to live again and redi...

Some years ago I decided to follow a friend and her friends to the swimming pool  @ Asa Pyramid Hotels Kaduna. The weather was really hot, and been that I have never been into a swimming pool before. I stayed put at the shallow part of the pool, not only was I a first timer, I also had phobia for  water. While others  were enjoying the pool and having fun, I was pitched close to the steers so I can easily get out when I feel a need for it.  That was when I noticed a  couple of guys trying to lift a young lady to there shoulders and I noticed at this point that she had a pad on, meaning she was menstruating  and didn't bother about the health of other swimmers at the pool. As soon as I saw that I left the pool and never went back to a swimming pool ever again. If you look closely you would see me at the far left and our aunty that came to the pooling while on her flow is the one trying to climb unto the shoulders of her companion's. #swim...

It's no longer news that the world is going through a difficult time in its history with the corona virus pandemic.  It's not news that the world economy is experiencing a depression and a lot of nations are experiencing recession.  It's not news that a lot of lives has been lost, courtesy of the pandemic, we saw nations like America, U.K.African nations and all of Europe at the end of their wits and helpless.  Not knowing what to expect the next minute, but in all of this God still remained God.  Remember what God said in the scriptures ' that the heaven and earth will pass away but every word that he has spoken will not return to Him void without fulfilling that for which he spoke it '. In all of this all of this we saw God at work and how he came to the rescue of his children.  I don't know what pandemic you are experiencing, know that God is always working things out for your good.
